MetaCompress is ISAPI filter for IIS (Internet Information Server). Most WEB browsers, including most popular Internet Explorer, can read compressed content of web sites. If client's browser support a compressed content, MetaCompress pack "text/*" content "on the fly". Otherwise MetaCompress returns required content "as is". This feature provide you incontestable advantage: pages of your site shall load more quickly. Users, who have a dialup connection at 14400 - 19200 bps, shall see multiple speed boost of page loading. This filter is more useful in such cases:
- your site contain a forums or webmail clients;
- there are many textual information such as documentation or news on your site;
