Reviewed by Brian Rasmusson

BitZipper comes with built-in support for ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, CAB, GZ, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, TAR, TGZ, UUE, WAR, XXE, Z, ZIP and ZOO files. No third-party products are needed. This enables you to access almost every compressed file with just one tool. Use BitZipper 4.0 to unzip your ZIP files FOR FREE with no nagging. Forever. BitZipper comes with 4 interfaces, satisfying both compression novices and power users: 1) A friendly Wizard interface guides novice users through both compression and decompression tasks step by step. 2) A Windows Explorer-style interface lets experts take full control and explore the full power of BitZipper. You see the folder structure of an archive in a tree view, just as when you browse the content of your harddrive. You can extract the content of single folders in the archive, as well as drag files or folders from the archive - just as when working with Windows explorer. 3) A unique feature of BitZipper is the Batch Tool that lets you extract, search, error check, virus scan and convert multiple archives in one single operation. The days are over where you had to open each and every archive after spending a day downloading. Select the files to extract, click a button, and have the archives extracted into an individual or common folder. Simple as that! 4) Compression, decompression and emailing can be initiated directly from the right-click menu of Windows Explorer. Another unique feature in BitZipper is Backup Sets (archive templates). Define which files and folders to back up, and activate your backup by the click of a button. Your backed up files can be accessed by BitZipper or any other tool capable of reading standard ZIP files. BitZipper handles ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, CAB, GZ, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, TAR, TGZ, UUE, WAR, XXE, Z, ZIP and ZOO files. BitZipper is WinZip, WinRAR and WinACE compatible and is available in English, French, German and Danish.
