MobileAdmin (MAD)

Reviewed by ZZZ Team

MobileAdmin (MAD) - is the monitoring and control system of servers and server-based applications in the environment of OS Windows. Basic idea of the MAD - realization of the command interface from mobile devices (cellular phones, smartphones, handheld computers, etc.). Mobile devices cooperate with MAD by sending commands and receiving answers through Short Messages Service (SMS) in GSM networks. General developed direction of the MAD is monitoring of servers and server applications. For this purpose MAD has a set of tasks checking the general state of operational system, availability of network services and operative condition of separate applications. Storing operation statistics, tasks can generate messages on state change of inspected objects, errors in operation and other important system events. Tasks can be executed through the defined time interval, under the schedule or by request. However besides usual monitoring and control MAD has advanced command interface specially focused on use of short messages. It gives an additional possibility to revise a state of controllable objects, reception of reports by request from mobile devices and operative management of monitoring tasks.
