The mission of the International Blackberry User Group (IBBUG) is to provide a forum for the sharing of information and experience on the selection, implementation, and effective use of Blackberry enterprise solutions. To realize its mission IBBUG has determined the following objectives: To minimize IT staff's support efforts, time and cost regarding the deployment and use of BlackBerries by providing right tools, education and an extensive database with tips, tricks and guidelines for helpdesk and IT support staff. To assist BlackBerry developers to increase the productivity and use of new and existing BlackBerry applications to maintain a comprehensive overview of third party solutions, trends and news on applications To provide an online discussion forum for users by users (end users, IT staff and developers) to instantly solve day to day problems with the use of BlackBerry. To help BlackBerry users discover the full potential of BlackBerry handhelds and BlackBerry enterprise solutions through publications (online) conferences and knowledge sharing To provide the most recent news and relevant information for BlackBerry and wireless data To maintain a comprehensive overview of vendors and their offerings for the BlackBerry wireless platform. To maintain a trusted and effective worldwide communications channel with the RIM organization.
