Computer Operators of Wisconsin (COW) meets monthly at Community Industries Corporation (old WIAA bldg.) at 41 Park Ridge Drive in Stevens Point WI from 7:00 to 9:00 pm; these general meetings are open to the public. SIGs (Special Interest Groups) are run by members for members, anyone wishing to form a SIG should email bod@cow-wi.org. An example of a previous SIG was a CALF (Computer Assisted Learning Forum) session focusing on beginner concepts and information. Currently a SIG is forming for members wishing to develop/maintain our web site and will meet from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, right before our general meetings. Hardware or software, presentation topics vary and are given by volunteers from the community, both member and non-members of COW. Member user levels span Novice to Advanced. General questions are always welcome. Need some help trouble-shooting? Want to build a PC? See the COW website for meeting dates, times and topics.
